Jean-Pierre Grandi is currently the sole managing partner of Artgentharius. He has over thirty years of professional experience in finance, auditing, corporate consulting, banking, wealth management, and a passion for painting.
Starting his career for over ten years at a major international audit firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), first in Paris in 1989 and then in Geneva from 1992, Jean-Pierre Grandi managed prestigious and rewarding mandates both in human and technical terms with large Swiss or foreign multinationals, financial services companies, as well as Family Offices, trusts, and foundations.
His professional experiences at Credit Suisse Private Banking, American Express Bank, and Standard Chartered Private Bank have given him a leading-edge knowledge of banking at the organizational level, particularly in the areas of internal control, operational risk, and risk management, both in Switzerland and internationally (France, Italy, Germany), as well as in the Principality of Monaco. He has also held positions as a Corporate Secretary and in Senior Management roles in Monaco and Geneva.
In 2011, he founded the company Artgentharius Conseils Sàrl registered in the canton of Geneva, offering "Corporate Consulting" services including outsourcing of certain control and compliance functions in companies, providing independent directors, and liquidating companies.
Jean-Pierre Grandi is a French-Swiss national residing in French-speaking Switzerland. He holds two Masters degrees from the University of Paris-Dauphine (France), in Finance and Management and in International Economics, as well as a French diploma in advanced accounting and finance. He is fluent in French and English and has a solid understanding of German.
He has taught at the Fund Academy AG, is an individual member of the Groupement de réviseurs bancaires (GRB) and the Swiss Association of Internal Auditors (ASAI), as well as several other professional and volunteer associations in Geneva.
Artgentharius Conseils Sàrl is also a member of the CCIG, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services.
Passionate about painting, Artgentharius and its founder also organize artistic exhibitions, primarily showcasing painters, allowing for the discovery of talented artists and bridging the gap between the world of business and the arts. In this capacity, Artgentharius is an individual member of the Foundation for Art Law at the University of Geneva.
