Is there still necessary to present James Mackeown and his painting full of sensitivity?

Exhibited for the fourth consecutive year, his favourite themes will have again the place of honour, these harmonious lifestyle scenes where silence and contemplation are taking precedence over the furtive aspect of the visual expression.

This year, in addition to coastal landscapes, beaches at low tide, countryside paths, portraits, nudes or lifestyle scenes, the exhibition will display some artworks related to the artist’s recent travel to Symi, a Greek island near to the Turkish coasts. Whatever the subject addressed, the painting of James MacKeown attracts inevitably your attention due to the density of the material, the light effects and the chromatic spectrum of colours!
