François Benoit-Lison is a painter who currently lives and works in the country of Gex, nearby Geneva. Respectful to great names such as Soulages, Matthieu or Marfaing, the artist takes us into his own abstract and lyrical world, where black color reigns supremely to penetrate into the deep intimacy of souls.

With a perfect mastery of the gesture and the use not only of oil and acrylic but also tar, the artist achieves an incredible harmony between the shades of the painting - made of easy flow and lightness - and the density of the substance.
